Interview with Xiaochu of BenMo Public Relations Essay

Interview with Xiaochu of BenMo Public Relations - Essay Example Since I participated so actively in society, I was able to get a good idea of what society wants. I noticed that most PR companies did not seem to really be providing what the public actally wanted, they didn’t have that knowledge of the Chinese people that was necessary to make a true connection. Most of those foreign PR companies saw the potential in our country of almost 1.6 billion people and most of the time, and my idea was to adapt their professionalism and experience to provide a PR experience and service that was specifically tailored for our country .† Everyone knows PR. What we need here is something â€Å"by the people for the people† so to speak. I wanted to create a widespread, quintessentially Chinese central network, where a central figure was available whom the public could relate to and have access to. â€Å" I want my company to grow like a big tree and now, I am the seed. We have a long way to go.† X: You know, I have never really seen money as my main goal in any of the work that I have done or that I am doing. As I started my business, I never really bothered about how much money I made on an individual job, the only consideration I would bear in mind is how large a segment of the public I was able to gain access to, through my PR work. My theory was, â€Å"the bigger you get, the more jobs you get and the money will come naturally.† X: Well I have always believed in the strength of the word of mouth kind of advertising. â€Å"â€Å" Clients are our number 1 strategy in promotion of the BenMo. Word-of-mouth plays a central role of great influence, and clients are more likely to trust a friend or family member’s recommendation as opposed to an advertisement. X: Well, I would say the secret is knowledge of the media. As an ancient Chinese proverb says, you have to â€Å"know the inches† – in other words, deliver only the news you can support

Genetics - Its History, Advantages and Future Research Paper

Genetics - Its History, Advantages and Future - Research Paper Example Genetics and the studies which investigate the genome of living organisms are important in the investigation of populations in reference to their distribution. It is thus through genetics that we are able to define the existence of racial differences and the patterns which describe the behavior of each population (Betz-Zall 109). Genetics has enabled scientists to come up with medicine for the therapy of various conditions which affect human beings and animals. For example studies on bacteria and viruses in relation to their genotypic expression illustrate the move towards making medical realities possible (Coates, John and Andy 18). It is thus through studies in genetics that the life of animals and human beings is conserved. Additionally, the study of genetics enables the achievement of preservation of the plant kingdom. This is made possible through the enhancement of genotypic makeup of plants which is geared towards the enhancement of the ability of plants to survive in various environments (Geck 153). The history of genetics is demonstrated by the application of genetics in the improvement of human, animal and plant life through cross breeding techniques. The work of Gregor Mendel defines the future of genetics by illustrating how the genotypes of organisms are passed from the parents to the offspring (Betz-Zall 109). It is thus through future studies of the genotypes of living organisms that the changes in the populations of the world is to be defined and determined (Mark, Hon and Roger 58). The blending of genes to come up with a unique living organism is a historic feature of genetics which has been used to cause changes in the offspring. These changes are aimed at ensuring that the genotypic and phenotypic structures of living organisms are designed to enhance their survival within the competitive environment (Coates, John and Andy 19). Nonetheless, the studies which enhance the feature of living organisms are procedural in addition to contextually lo ng lasting through the results are beneficial to the enhancement of life of human beings, plants and animals (Mark, Hon and Roger 67). Reproduction is a concept of genetics which illustrates the role of genes in the perpetuation of the offspring. It is through the combination of the male and female genes that the existence of a population is made possible (Betz-Zall 109). The study of these genes therefore plays a leading role in ensuring that the life and existence of life is not extinct. Additionally, the human and animal genome and the related studies ensure that the existence of life is achieved through improvement of the previous genotypic and phenotypic expressions. More importantly, the conviction of nurture within the nature of life as expressed through genes is achieved through genetics and the related studies (Geck 153). Nurture explains that in addition to the role of genes in the living of organisms, the environment also plays a role. It is in this sense that it is under stood that the level into which genes contribute to the expression of living organisms is also influenced by external factors within the environment (Mark, Hon and Roger 65). The significance genes are further demonstrated by the diversity which is expressed within the human, plant and animal kingdoms (Coates, John and

How population growth can spur economic prosperity and promote Research Paper

How population growth can spur economic prosperity and promote progress - Research Paper Example However, in this context it is worth mentioning that rapid rate of growth of population also creates negative effects upon the degree of growth of economies, by reducing the amount of effective labor force in the economy (National Research Council (U.S.), 1986, p. 47). There are several policy issues related to the process of creation of positive effects of higher population growth upon the process of economic prosperity and the process of promotion of economic growth. These policy issues are closely related to the generation of different fiscal as well as monetary policies which are undertaken by governments of developed, developing as well as less developed countries across the globe (Bloom et al., 2001, p. 6). One of the most important policies is creation of effective amount of natural and productive resources in the economy, so that the volume of excess of demand and thus rise in prices of goods and services do not happen in the concerned economy. This policy is largely abided by the government through effective increase in the volume of government expenditure on production processes. Also the monetary policy is implemented by the government in respect to creation of effective amount of money supply in the economy through creation of new empl oyment opportunities (Bloom et al., 2001, pp. 6-7).In this context, the policy which has been implemented in the USA, regarding the creation of larger number of jobs for the older people of the country, because of the fact that the mortality rate is very low in the country, has been highly significant (Bloom et al., 2001, p. 20). There are different ethical as well as legal issues in regard to the process of creating of progressive effects of population growth on economic growth. These ethical issues are related to large number of issues, including environmental issues, resource allocation and distributional issues,

Scenario Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1000 words - 1

Scenario - Essay Example Their complaint is that the cops usually arrest them and leave the jerks who are usually with them. In this case, the jerks are their customers who are men. It does not make sense to them, and the observers that the police do not arrest the men given that some of the men are married and therefore leaves their wives foe the prostitutes. One of the criminology theory applicable to this scenario is the rational choice theory (Akers & Sellers, 2009). In this theory, the assumptions that relate it to the social cause of crime is that of individualism. The law breakers look at themselves as individuals, and they have to utilize their time to maximise their opportunities. The maximization of individual opportunity is usually driven by the self-interest that individuals have. The reason why this theory is applicable in this scenario is because of the selfish nature of the prostitutes who chooses to go to the street to for the personal benefits of acquiring money from men without considering the fact that some men are married (Akers & Sellers, 2009). In the public perspective, the social crime committed by the prostitute is a social device to the society. It is a society that advocate the proper social behaviour that only married men and women should participate in the sexual activity. The society also advocates for the proper use of sex that is for procreation. This is most-encouraged activity for the sexual tool. The prostitutes use the sexual tool as money making machine. They are also out there to tame some married men to be their customers. Since the society has put some guidelines about a family that states that the sexual satisfaction must be obtained from their legally married wives, prostitution tends to denounce this legality (Akers & Sellers, 2009). The punishment that accompanies this crime is usually short. This is because the law keepers do not see it as a big crime that need long term jail. This is because the police usually try to disrupt them from
